Lord, Our God, we bless you and give you thanks because you created us in your likeness, according to your image: you created us man and woman, and you invite us to love each other with a joyful and invigorating love.

Blessed are you for the ‘yes’ that you inspired us to say, for the trust and forgiveness that you make us capable of giving, for your presence which illuminates our relationship on the good and bad days.

Faithful and generous God, we beg you: teach us every day to renew our commitment, rejuvenate our love, strengthen our fidelity, be with us in our hours of doubt, when the best of what we are runs the risk of weakening or collapsing, namely our desire to live for each other and to give life
